Design Notes

The NosZ gene has a PstI enzyme site within its sequence. This is why the part is not 3A assembly compatible. We used an alternate strategy to ligate the Promoter+RibosomeBindingSite construct upstream to the NosZ+SYFP construct in its native backbone.

Source

The Promoter+RibosomeBindingSite part was obtained from the biobrick BBa_K880005.

The NosZ+SYFP construct was used from the biobrick BBa_K1866001.
